Garden Island Confined space water blaster labourers

We are looking for Working at Heights Labourers with experience in high-pressure water blasting on Naval ships.

You'll conduct your work in confined spaces using high-pressure water blasting equipment, and industrial vacuum systems (wet and dry) to maintain and repair Sydney water sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely entering and working within various confined spaces.

• Operating high-pressure water blasting equipment for thorough cleaning of internal surfaces.

• Utilising industrial vacuum tankers/trucks (wet and dry systems) for efficient waste removal.

• Maintaining strict adherence to all confined space entry procedures and safety protocols.

• Ensuring meticulous cleanliness and compliance with Sydney water standards.

Requirements:

• White Card

• Confined Space Entry Ticket

• Working at heights certificate

• DCAC Defence work pass

Highly Desirable:

• Confined Space Sydney water certification - rescue and gas testing

• HR truck license

• Vacuum truck/tanker experience

• Experience handling HPW (High Pressure Water) units

• Use of MSA Gas monitors

• Hepatitis A & B and Tetanus vaccinations
